In bloom: Ana Locking Spring 2012

Ana Locking Spring 2012

Be optimistic, look forward! It's freezing cold outside but we can't wait to see what's happening in the coming spring. "Under Beauty" is the theme of Spanish design house Ana Locking for SS12 collection. Interpreting the theme - seeking beauty in between the bright side and the dark, there is a lot of floral pattens varied in bright colours yellow, pink and blue, playing contrast with black shirts and trousers.

Favourite key items: floral pattened leather espadrilles

Navy, midnight blue, violet purple, charcoal grey, black and white. The colour palette is dipped with all our favorite colours, all highly wearable. Designer Yigal Azrouël wants this collection to be causal and almost effortless. Think leather waistcoat over white shirt and sweatpants: Is this gent more like a cool dressy game player?

To complete the dressed-up yet rebellious look, models are styled with subtly messy out-of-bed hair, looking handsome in the morning sunlight, no?
